Taccia Miyabi Maki-e Fountain Pen – Limited Edition – Fujiyama features a landscape with Mt. Fuji,golden hills, two small birds, and a flower branch. The mountain is illuminated with raden detailing, while its snowy cap features rankaku eggshell inlay. The black clip blends in with black urushi-lacquer finish. This design is limited to 100 pieces worldwide.
The pens in Taccia’s Miyabi Maki-e Limited Edition Collection, inspired by nature, history, and space, have been crafted, maki-e inlaid, and urushi-lacquered by master artisans. Thedesignsare created using the raden and rankaku maki-e techniques, which involve inlaying abalone shells, eggshells, and other precious materials.

Each fountain pen is made by hand in Taccia’s urushi studio on Wajima, Japan, using traditional inlay techniques enhanced with precious metals and lacquer. To blend the old with the new, each fountain pen comes fitted with an 18k gold nib made by Sailor in Japan along with an individually polished ebonite barrel. Each series is limited and signed by the maki-e artisan who created it, truly emphasizing the tradition of craftsmanship.
