Pilot Parallel Calligraphy Pen

Pilot’s Parallel Calligraphy Pens come with a special nib made of two parallel flat metal plates as opposed to the traditional nib with two tines. With these parallel pens, you can practice many different lettering styles. Included in each pack is an instruction sheet that teachesthe fundamental stroke orders for Italic, Roman and Gothic lettering as well as other general lettering techniques. In the instructional guide, you will also find pointers on how to hold the pen, how to adjust angles to achieve different line widths and even some pictures that give ideas on how else you can use the pen to decorate cards, invitations, labels and more. For even more fun, if you have two parallel pens with different colored ink cartridges inserted, you can touch the two nib plates together to mix the colors, creating a beautiful gradation effect in your lettering.
